Joel has two design degrees; a BFA from the American Intercontinental University and a MFA from California State University, Long Beach.Joel has spent 4 years owning and operating a Landscape Design Business in Palm Springs, where he developed a love and vast knowledge for Desert Plants and California Native Plants. While in Palm Springs Joel worked for the Desert Garden Center, LLC were he managed the outdoor lighting and irrigation departments. He has furthered his education by taking courses at Cuyamaca College’s Water Conservation Garden.
Joel is an active member of the Water Conservation Garden and the Quail Botanical Gardens.

From a very rewarding career in the Advertising and Design sector of New York City James moved to Tucson, Arizona in 2004, where he began coordinating design projects for GreenSpace Inc. There James honed his skills in low-water usage irrigation, drainage, xeriscape, desert planting and what he calls "conscious designs". James believes that "It is crucial to listen to both the client's and the land's needs." A natural at lighting, James takes great pride in that final element of illumination. His aesthetic is inspired by the Desert, "Pristine and Powerful" Now in San Diego for his first year, James is grateful to be contributing to Joel's impeccable designs. With the perfect segue from the desert to a region that is in dire need of water conservation, James is eager to create both blissful and conscious designs unique to each client.Contact James Kressley
